"Its been a hot minute since we've had a natural Ethiopian on our menu. This Hadeso jumped off the cupping table and took us back to the moment we fell in love with specialty coffee sipping our first blueberry bomb from Guji"

Hadeso is a privately-owned washing station in Ethiopia’s Guji zone, located in the Shakisso district near the village of Hadeso. Managed by Testi Coffee, a family business founded by Mr. Faysel A. Yonis, the station sits at 1,950 meters above sea level and produces exceptional washed and natural processed coffees.

Established in 2017, Hadeso employs eight permanent staff and 250 seasonal workers. During harvest, about 500 independent farmers from nearby Dambi Uddo and a collection point in Addis deliver freshly picked cherries daily. Most of these farmers grow coffee organically on small plots of 2-5 hectares, alongside food crops like corn, grain, and bananas, under the shade of native trees. The region's high elevation (1,800-2,050 meters) and cool climate are perfect for slow ripening, resulting in denser beans with a sweeter, more complex cup profile.
